When you are applying for the Theory Test...

The fee that one must pay in order to do the test is that of €30.25. The subjects that the test will cover are defined in the fourth schedule of the regulations. The test, which takes 45 minutes to take, consists of 35 multiple choice questions and you need to get 30 correct answers from these questions in order for you to pass the test.
When taking the theory test you do not have to worry whether you speak the Maltese language or not. Regardless which test you are taking, be it motorcycle or car test, you will be able to do so in both English or Maltese. To make sure you will be well informed here you will find a Maltese and English version of the highway code, this is a required study for all categories.
